The Império do Espírito Santo da Rua da Igreja is also known as the Empire of the Middle of the Street. Built in 1898, it has a rich collection, including flags, crowns, and a scepter. The festivities take place on Pentecost and Trinity Sunday, with processions, masses, festivities, and auctions. It is noteworthy for having had “esmoleiros” stewards who collected wheat for the second feast, in the 1920s.
