The Império do Espírito Santo da Serra de Santiago, in the parish of Lajes, municipality of Praia da Vitória, was built in 1964. It celebrates the feast of the Divine Holy Spirit in the month of June, beginning with the transfer of the steward’s crown to the empire on the Sunday before the coronation. Throughout the week, the rosary is prayed at the empire, open to brothers and other faithful.
