Viewpoint of Serra de Santa Bárbara
In a Natural Reserve, you can enjoy a good part of Terceira Natural Park , as well as the pristine natural landscape of Clouds’s Forest of the Azores, one of the rarest and most valuable vegetation , dominated by endemic Azorean cedro-do-mato (Juniperus brevifolia) . This Natural Reserve occupies 1 863,40ha the massif of the Serra de Santa Bárbara and integrates the highest point of the island, located 1 021m altitude. You can also contemplate a good part of the island , as well as sights other islands of the central group.
